Esther Duflo at the I.S.E.O. Summer School 2022

The I.S.E.O. Institute is delighted to announce that Esther DUFLO, Nobel Laureate in Economics 2019, will join the I.S.E.O. Summer School 2022, a prestigious one week course in Economics reserved to postgraduate students and young economists from all over the world.

In her research,  prof. Duflo, who is professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics at Mit and co-founder and co-director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab,  seeks to understand the economic lives of the poor, with the aim to help design and evaluate social policies. Her lecture at the 18th edition of the summer course organized by the I.S.E.O. Institute will be focused on her latest studies.

The I.S.E.O. Summer School 2022 (“The post pandemic economic recovery” | 18-25 June | online & onsite) features four Nobel Laureates: in addition to Esther Duflo, the panel of the speakers can count on Abhijit Banerjee, Nobel Laureate in Economics 2019, Michael Spence, Nobel Laureate in Economics 2001 and Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Laureate for Peace 2006. Further outstanding economists, such as Daron Acemoglu, professor of Labor Economics at Mit, and Gernot Wagner, professor of climate economics at NY University, will teach  participants from all over the world.
