The debate on social challenges that arise in new economies was held between Robert Engle, Nobel Laureate in Economics 2003 and James Mirrlees, Nobel Laureate in Economics 1996. Emanuele Ferragina, a lecturer from University of Oxford was moderating the discussion as the world-famous economists offered their views on finding a balance between progress and social risks when building the economy for the future.
Audience of the conference was surprised not only by the importance of the conference but also by the stunning location: San Salvatore church is a former monastery in Brescia, now turned into a museum.
